in my general conference april2011 review...
Our beloved President Thomas S. Monson reminds us:
“I testify to you that our promised blessings are beyond measure. Though the storm clouds may gather, though the rains may pour down upon us, our knowledge of the gospel and our love of our Heavenly Father and of our Savior will comfort and sustain us and bring joy to our hearts as we walk uprightly and keep the commandments.
...My beloved brothers and sisters,
fear not.
Be of good cheer.
The future is as bright as your faith.”

and my map obsession
can't get enough of this:

i really don't know what it is with me
and maps.
but i love them!
for years i've always told myself
that one day my house will have a big awesome fancy globe.
i think it's classy. ha!
i guess that interest has evolved into maps.
i've been collecting a few
and have many ideas pending...
now for the execution!

(see, you people need to recycle! yes, i'm that girl that keeps a personal recycling bin at work and collects it in the office to take home once a week.)

A goldfish has a memory span of three seconds.
(i don't believe this...my fish, Big Boy, he knows me. and knows when i'm about to feed him too...he comes up and starts eating the air if i just put my hand over the bowl..haha)

A hard working adult sweats up to 4 gallons per day. Most of the sweat evaporates before a person realizes it's there.

A hummingbird weighs less than a penny.
(i never see hummingbirds at my hummingbird feeder. lame.)

(ever seen the movie SEVEN POUNDS? it's good. see it.)

A sneeze travels out your mouth at over 100 m.p.h.

All of the clocks in the movie "Pulp Fiction" are stuck on 4:20.
(i used to love this movie. i never noticed though. 4:20, very fitting.)

Blueberry Jelly Bellies were created especially for Ronald Reagan.
(that's what happens when you are THE MAN. and he was THE man.)

Money isn't made out of paper, it's made out of cotton.
(how do people even counterfeit it then?)

Slugs have 4 noses.
(gross. i say pour salt on them all! if you don't know what that does...go try it :)

Texas is the only state that is allowed to fly its state flag at the same height as the U.S. flag.
(ugh. why don't they just become their own country already?)

The longest word in the English language, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, is pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis.

i am also quite convinced that no matter where i end up...
my heart will always want to be back in georgia.
i used to dream of living in the city, but i think i'd hate it.
i love downtown...but i don't want to LiVE there.
i love the beach...but i'd miss the trees and the lakes and the parks.
i have family out west...but i would shrivel up in the dusty desert.
noplease!
i need lots of trees and green. peace. and a friendly variety of people.
i   love   georgia   best.
